Travelling with little ones can be stressful. Spending hours crammed together in a vehicle can certainly be an incubator for sanctification!
Lists can be a great help as you plan ahead.
And if you have children who can read you can give them a list and have them pack their bag by themselves, it will teach them responsibility and relieve you of some of the work involved.
One thing I have done especially if we are only gone for a few days for my younger children is pack their clothes in ziplock bags. I label them for each day and in the morning all I have to do is hand them their bag.
For long car rides having some activities and games reserved ONLY for the car will make it fun and memorable.
The dollar store has some great things that will only last for one trip anyways!!! Audio dramas are wonderful to keep their minds occupied.
Some great resources are:

- as well as audio books
I have a friend who is amazing at reading aloud, she can do all the voices, and her children enjoy listening while they travel.
Happy travels!
