Let the Men be Men by Chris Mueller (companion to Let the Women be Women) and published by @steadfastbibles I just finished reading this book with my oldest boy. One thing I absolutely loved about this book was Chris not only tackles the role of men but the heart of biblical manhood as he teaches from the book of Titus. He covers things like, “Let the Men be Men – Cutting through the Confusion”, “Let the Men be Leaders – Loving Headship Under Christ”, “Let the Men be Mature- The Goal of Godliness”, “Let the Men be Sensible- The Stability of a Sound Mind”, Let the Men be Examples, …Discerning, …Dignified, …Sound in Speech”, etc., Not only do I recommend this book for young men, I also recommend it for women too – young women for what you should be looking for in a man, mothers for how you should be raising men, and wives for what you should be praying for in your husbands. Because I don’t want to overstep my bounds, I’ll leave you with @joshbuice ‘s words,
“Sadly, there is a crisis in God’s church. The problem with men in the local church is not toxic masculinity or macho-manliness. The crisis is based on confusion over what it means to be a faithful man of God. Chris Mueller does an excellent job of defining biblical manhood and describing how biblical manhood functions in the home and the church for the glory of God.”
